History of the London Curling Club

The London Curling Club was founded in 1847.  Originally, games were played outdoors on the Coves near the Thames River. In 1910, the club was moved indoors, and in 1915, the site of the existing club was purchased.  Artificial ice was installed in 1929 - a London first!
